Who MerchantCalcs is for
MerchantCalcs is built for independent sellers, e-commerce merchants, small businesses, marketers, freelancers and anyone comparing practical business scenarios. The tools are designed to answer a defined question without requiring an account or a spreadsheet template.
What we build
We publish business, pricing, e-commerce, marketplace, finance, advertising, inventory and logistics calculators. Each calculator shows its formula, inputs, worked example and limitations so the result can be checked rather than accepted as a black box.
How the calculators work
Calculations use visible formulas and assumptions, input validation and automated formula tests where practical. Calculator values are processed by JavaScript in your browser. Marketplace rates remain editable where appropriate, and official sources are shown when a result depends on changing third-party rules. Currency selection changes display formatting and does not perform an exchange-rate conversion.
Accuracy and changing rates
Static formulas are covered by automated tests. Marketplace, tax and payment-provider assumptions can change, so relevant rates remain editable and official sources are linked where they add value. A review date means the cited rate was checked on that date, not that it will remain unchanged.
Privacy by default
Calculator values stay in the browser and are not submitted to MerchantCalcs. Optional analytics loads only after consent and does not receive calculator input values.
Corrections
A formula, label or source can still need correction. Report a specific issue with the calculator URL and, when relevant, a link to current official documentation. Contact MerchantCalcs.
